Why cruelty free and vegan?
Over the years I have noticed that it is very hard to find professional brands that are clear when it comes to animal testing and wether or not their products contain any animal ingredients. I am an animal lover and I hate the though of any creature being tortured just so we can wear a certain shade of polish. I have been wanting to go 100% cruelty free and vegan with my products for a while so when the opportunity arose to open my own shop in Frome I took the leap and so far its proven successful with my clients as most of them feel the same way. Everyone is individual and unlike most people I discovered vegan in beauty products before food, when usually it's the other way around! I have put in a lot of effort and research to source all my products and also find products that I believe in and that still work! I didn't want to compromise on quality or service.
Do I have to be vegan to visit the salon?
No! of course not. I am a very open person and welcome anyone that comes through the door. I also don't talk about 'vegan' or animal testing unless you choose to of course. The aim was to try and introduce cruelty and vegan beauty into the high street and to make people aware that its not hard to find and that you don't need to compromise on quality.

What do I need to do before my spray tan?
Exfoliate the night before your tan. (If you do not have an oil free exfoliator a loofa will do).
Pay particular attention to dry areas such as knees and elbows.
Paint nails and toenails.
Remove any unwanted hair 48 hours prior to your treatment.
Don’t moisturise or perfume before your tan.
Remove contact lenses before the treatment to avoid contamination.
Have loose dark clothing ready. Tight clothing will cause tan to rub off.
After your tan:
Leave the tan to develop for 8-10 hours.
Shower with warm water until the water runs clear and gently pat dry. Avoid overly hot showers & soaps.
Avoid excessive exercise, perspiring or getting wet during development.
Long baths or going swimming will fade your tan quicker.
Remember that sunless tan does not protect you in the sun. Use SPF to avoid burning. (not the oil type)
Moisturise daily to enhance your tan and prolong your colour.
Start to exfoliate four days after you tan to encourage even fading.
What happens if I am running late?
I understand the impact of traffic, children etc. Therefore, I do offer a 10-minute window for both you and me. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your booking you will still be charged. However, I will do my best to alter the treatment to fit with the remaining time available.
What should I do if I have had a past medical condition or something I am worried about?
If you have had a past ailment or anything that you are currently concerned about I would recommend that you see a General Practitioner before booking with me. On arrival I will ask you to complete an online consultation form which asks a few questions to make sure everything is ok before we go ahead with the treatment. If there is something in particular that you are unsure about you can always email me about it beforehand at
